Owning and operating a butcher shop has been something that we've wanted to do for years. It all started with Nate's grandparents Merle and Betty Bishop who owned Bishop Meat Locker for 60 years in the small town of Hamler. Ever since the meat locker closed, Nate has always wanted to pursue this industry and reopen his own butcher shop. Nate and his cousin Jason discussed the idea of opening and operating a butcher shop together. Five months later that dream is becoming a reality. Within the last couple of months we have converted our cattle barn into a butcher shop thanks to Rupp Rosebrock Inc, family, and friends. Without their help we wouldn't be able to make this a reality. We are excited to see what the future entails!
