Falb Family Farm

We are a four generation family family farm located in Wayne County. We raise field crops and beef cattle. Our crops have been certified as organic by the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) since 2011. The organic certification prohibits us from planting seeds with genetically modified organisms and applying pesticides or other chemicals on our fields. Our field crop rotation includes corn, hay, barley, and oats. We sell most of our field crops to orgainc dairy producers in our area. We raise both grain-fed and grass-fed beef. The cattle on our farm are fed non-GMO certified organic crops from our farm. We plan to certify our beef cattle as organic in 2013 and are looking to develop an organic beef market. We sell our beef as freezer beef by the quarter, half, or whole carcass.
