Pure: Our ingredients are sourced with a focus on quality and are among the finest available. We use 58.5% dark chocolate, organic sugar, organic butter, Madagascar vanilla and organic eggs. Epic: Just one taste and consumers agree these are unlike any brownies they have ever experienced. Our Company: Matt Maier is a professional chef with over twenty years of experience in the industry. He is a CIA graduate, CMC culinary instructor and works for a local non-profit where he teaches culinary arts to local high school students. The focus of Backcountry Brownies is to make a brownie maximizing everything the consumer wants in a confection, but without any of the additives, fillers, extenders, etc. About the Product: We recommend storing our product in a commercial freezer for optimal enjoyment. Thaw what you need when you need it to ensure the highest quality brownie experience. Commercial freezer stable for 6+ months Refrigerator stable for 7-10 days Shelf stable for 6 days We use a proprietary blend of ingredients for our gluten-free flour blend. We have tried to avoid major allergens in our blend. You wont find these brownies loaded with soy or corn. We use a blend of rice starches, tapioca starch, potato starch, xanthan and leavening agents to reproduce the experience of wheat flour. A complete list of these ingredients can be found on our website. Packaging: We care about Mother Earth and want to do our part to limit our impact. We use a fully recyclable Polyolefin shrink-wrap to ensure freshness. This also maximizes temperature ranges from below freezing to hot. All of our packaging meets or exceeds FDA requirements for food grade/ food contact packaging. We package a 3x 3 x 1/2 product. Please allow for slight variances in your handcrafted product.
