We raise our animals the way that nature meant them to be, outside eating grasses and running around. Our sows farrow in large deep bedded pens or on pasture, not in crates. We rotate them around several pastures so that they get fresh growth to eat. We limit herbicides to helping keep fence lines clean and use no pesticides. We also don't use any antibiotics. Raised this, way our animals rarely have any health issues. Growth enhancers/ hormones are NOT used
